I'm Nicolás Lizcano, a designer who decided to pursue a degree in Diseño Integral y Gestión de la Imagen (Integrated Design and Branding) at Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) in Madrid, after starting a degree in Computer Engineering and realizing it wasn't the right fit.
While studying, I was able to learn about the various branches of design, as well as the different tools needed to bring my ideas to life on paper, screens, and in other formats. In this way, I've developed work in product, 3D, graphic, editorial, and spatial design, as well as photography and brand management.
Through my curricular internship as an Art Director at the Advertising Agency of the Faculty of Communication Sciences (FCCOM) at URJC, I was able to put my skills into practice for the first time on real-world projects with different companies that collaborated with the university.
In 2024, I joined Earwaves, a sports equipment company specializing in CrossFit. During my time there, I was responsible for creating a wide variety of graphic materials, product packaging, and designing their Shopify website. I also played a key role in developing and enhancing their brand identity.
I am currently working at a bookstore in Santander, Spain. This experience is allowing me to gain customer service skills and foster a habit I had neglected for a few years: reading.
